Sick and Tired of New Year's Resolutions?

Sick and tired of New Year’s resolutions?

You should be.

You see, once upon a time new year’s eve would fill me with a sense of excitement.

I knew THIS would be the year I would finally get it together and make my financial dreams come true.

But after a couple of weeks, the excitement would fade, and I’d be back to square one.

Even worse, by the end of the year I’d be no further toward my goals.

All I would have achieved was a feeling of remorse and regret.

This went on for years.

And with each year my enthusiasm would wane.

I could feel my dreams, hopes and wishes slipping away.

Finally I reached the point where the new year meant nothing to me.

Instead of being filled with hope I started wondering, “What’s going to go wrong
now?”

But here’s what you need to realize.

There’s nothing special about the clock ticking over at midnight.
New Year’s means nothing…

Every day is a “New Year” and another chance to change things.

When I realized this everything changed.

In less than a year I figured out how to solve my issues with money. And by the time the new year came round again I was standing on a tropical beach watching fireworks with my new girlfriend.

(The year before I was alone in a crummy apartment drinking cheap beer and eating Ramen noodles.)

Now it’s your turn.

Everything I learnt on my journey is included in Manifestation Millionaire.

Despite what’s happened in the past there’s still time to change your financial destiny.

Man Films Himself Sitting and Smiling 4 Hours a Day

For the last six months, for four hours at a time, Benjamin Bennett has been sitting alone in his empty room and livestreaming himself sitting motionless and smiling in zen-like silence.

So far, he has uploaded 116 hours' worth of footage of him sitting, without giving any reasonable explanation. After Ben's work was discovered in the middle of his 25th livestream, it seemed like everybody wanted to know why anybody would take the time to do this. Was it art? Meditation? Mental illness?

Man Trapped in Deja Vu Time Loop for 8 years

A student was forced to drop out of university after a bizarre case of chronic déjà vu left him unable to lead a normal life.

The 23-year-old even stopped watching TV, listening to the radio, or reading newspapers or magazines because he believed he had seen it all before.

He told doctors that he was "trapped in a time loop" and said he felt as if he was reliving the past moment by moment.

Create Your Virtual Reality in the Hypnogogic State

Source: Isochiral.com

As the green blob comes hurtling at you, sweating and trembling, you take the laser gun and zap it. Then, you watch in amazement as the monster that has haunted your dreams since childhood shrivels up and shape shifts into a pink butterfly.

While this is the realm of fantasy for many, for meditators who have taken control of the hypnogogic state it is a real state.

The hypnogogic state is one of the most powerful states one can achieve. Also called lucid dreaming, with the help of brainwave control methods such as brainwave entrainment, it is easier to enter this state and take control, even of your fantasies and worst nightmares.

Rather than passively observe your meditations, choose to actively direct them and create your own virtual reality.

Everything you see is NOT REAL

Imagine of your thoughts could give you more money,

“The world is not real.”

Everything you see around you is just an illusion.

Gurus and spiritual teachers have been saying that for a thousand years... but now scientists and Tech geniuses are saying the same thing.

Alien Abductee Defies 16 Lie Detector Tests, Proving His Story True

MindTrip Magazine
Travis Walton, the man involved in one of the most infamous alien abduction cases EVER, has hit out at sceptics and non-believers -- taking 16 separate lie detector tests about the unexplained strange 1975 incident -- proving 100% that his story is TRUE!

The now world-known Travis Walto, had disappeared without a trace after he and the crew of loggers that he worked with claimed to have seen a huge UFO in the forest they were working in -- something which has yet to be debunked!

Originally crew members were suspected of murder and questioned by the local Police force, but creepily Travis reappeared five days later saying he had been taken into a space craft by alien creatures.

The dad-of-four says he has spent the past 40 year defending himself against those trying to discredit him -- and has even written a book debunking every alternate theory to what happened to him.

Neuroscience Could Bring Us Eternal Bliss, But Is That a Good Thing?

What if the secret to eternal happiness is a brain implant?

If you’re thinking that sounds like the premise of a Black Mirror episode, you’re not alone. Yet at the Society for Neuroscience annual conference earlier this month, two teams demonstrated parts of a new technology that may one day take us there.

Picture this: a series of tiny electrodes sit silently in various parts of the brain, recording the organ’s electrical activity in real time. The data is fed into a personalized algorithm—a “mood map”—that can estimate a person’s general mood based on brain waves alone.

When the system detects patterns that indicate the onset of a depressive episode, it sends out electrical zaps targeting the brain’s mood centers. Under the watchful eye of the algorithm, the system continues its stimulation until the malfunctioning circuits are shocked back into a “happy” state.

The Magic Power of Magic Mushrooms

The hallucinogen in magic mushrooms may no longer just be for hippies seeking a trippy high.

Researchers at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine have been studying the effects of psilocybin, a chemical found in some psychedelic mushrooms, that’s credited with inducing transcendental states.

Now, they say, they’ve zeroed in on the perfect dosage level to produce transformative mystical and spiritual experiences that offer long-lasting life-changing benefits, while carrying little risk of negative reactions.

Your Brain is More Powerful than all the Computers on Earth

By Elizabeth Armstrong Moore / Cnet News

The human brain is truly awesome.

A typical, healthy one houses some 200 billion nerve cells, which are connected to one another via hundreds of trillions of synapses. Each synapse functions like a microprocessor, and tens of thousands of them can connect a single neuron to other nerve cells.

In the cerebral cortex alone, there are roughly 125 trillion synapses, which is about how many stars fill 1,500 Milky Way galaxies.

These synapses are, of course, so tiny (less than a thousandth of a millimeter in diameter) that humans haven't been able to see with great clarity what exactly they do and how, beyond knowing that their numbers vary over time. That is until now.

Energy Healing Works, and This Man Will Prove It

In the 17 years since the bewildering day that Charlie Goldsmith discovered what he calls his "gift," the 35-year-old energy healer from Melbourne, Australia, has been trying to get someone in the medical world to take him seriously.

He has wanted to be of use, working with the formal sanction of doctors in hospitals. He has wanted to be recognized for what he knows he can do—not simply to justify the strange turn his life took when he was 18, but to shore up the credibility of a practice long plagued by fraud and religious superstition, and to make the experience of discovering and developing a healing gift like his less traumatic for other people.

Why Money And Sex Will Never Make You Happy

MindTrip Magazine
What motivates you?

Why do you go to work every day? Why do you go to school? Why do you go to the gym? Why do you go out at night?

For most guys the answer to all of these questions boils down to money, sex, or a combination of the two.

If we’re being honest, we all work for money and the freedom and security that it brings us. We all go to the gym and the bar in order to get laid.

And while there’s nothing inherently wrong with wanting more money and more sex, there is something wrong with getting hyper-focused on these outcomes. And this is a trap that all too many of us fall into, at one time or another in our lives.

It’s easy to catch ourselves thinking, “I’ll be so happy if I get that raise,” or “I’ll be so happy if I can have sex with that girl tonight.” THIS line of thinking is a problem. An extra $10,000 per year or one night of amazing sex won’t make any noticeable change to your happiness levels. If you’re not already happy, then good luck finding happiness in money and sex.

Naps Can Boost Brain Power

President Donald Trump prides himself on getting by with just four or five hours of sleep at night, which leaves him plenty of time early in the morning to scan cable TV news and tweet before going to work.

During last year's rough-and-tumble campaign, he scoffed at "low-energy" rivals Republican Jeb Bush and Democrat Hillary Clinton for carving out nap time.

"No naps for Trump! I don't nap," the 71-year-old Trump bellowed during one campaign stop. "We don't have time."

Yet history is replete with powerful leaders and warriors such as Napoleon, Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy who routinely napped in the afternoon, regardless of the crises swirling around them.

The Happy Drugs Inside Your Brain

Source: The Ancient Secret of Kings

We might not have a money tree, but we can have a happiness tree.

Dopamine, Serotonin, Oxytocin, and Endorphins are the quartet responsible for our happiness. Many events can trigger these neurotransmitters, but rather than being in the passenger seat, there are ways we can intentionally cause them to flow.

Being in a positive state has significant impact on our motivation, productivity, and wellbeing. No sane person would be opposed to having higher levels in those areas.

Here are some simple ways to hack into our positive neurochemicals:

How to Read Someone's Mind

By Meredith Woerner

Impress your friends and terrify your enemies by pretending to read anyone's mind. It's not as hard as it looks — there are some well-worn tricks that can make you appear telepathic. Screw magicians and their lame fire tricks — we're way more impressed with someone who can guess your favorite movie just by staring into your eyes.

We spoke with Las Vegas' resident Mentalist Gerry McCambridge and he broke down the basic steps to wowing people with your powers of telepathy.

McCambridge, who has spent the last 7 years at The Planet Hollywood reading throngs of tourists, doesn't just pull information from your brain — he'll also tell you exactly how he got there as well. So we asked him to break down his methods step by step.

How to Grow Younger

By Ellen Wood

The Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation are exercises developed about 2500 years ago by Tibetan monks. They form a system of exercise that affects the body, mind and emotions, activating and stimulating key chakras (energy centers) thereby stimulating all the glands of the endocrine system.

Since the endocrine system is responsible for the body's overall functioning and aging process, the Tibetan Rites affect the functioning of all our organs and systems. The Tibetan Rites can be considered a form of Tibetan yoga similar to the more well-known yoga series that originated in India but these are supposed to make you grow younger and they really work!

How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci to Unlock Your Creative Potential

“You are gifted with virtually unlimited potential for learning and creativity,” said author Michael Gelb.

In a keynote presentation at Singularity University’s Exponential Medicine Summit in San Diego this week, Gelb shared his insights for maximizing that potential—based on lessons from one of the greatest thinkers of history, Leonardo da Vinci.

Being more like da Vinci, Gelb said, can help us uncover hidden abilities, expand our minds, and accomplish more than we thought we could. Gelb used da Vinci’s notebooks, inventions, and artwork to come up with seven da Vincian principles, which he believes are the essential elements of genius.

The principles are detailed in his book How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci. Here’s the condensed version.

7 Steps to Think Like a Genius

Source: Brainwave Shots

At this very moment, you are holding unbound potential. You hold within your possession the most powerful learning and creative problem-solving system known to man, far superior to any supercomputer ever invented. It is your brain.

There are 100 billion neurons in your 3-pound brain.

By its very design, the human brain stores vast potential for memory, learning, and creativity. However, your capacity for learning and achievement must be unlocked. Although everyone holds this incredible power, the brain does not give of its powers away freely.

The Nocebo Effect: How Health Warnings Make You Sick

A few years ago, scores of middle-aged men took part in a clinical trial of a new drug, intended to ease the symptoms of their enlarged prostates. But this wasn't just a study of a drug's power to help. It was also a study of the mind's power to hurt.

Before getting their prescriptions, half of the men were told about a small risk of erectile dysfunction and other sexual side effects; none of the men had a history of such troubles. Of the men who got the warning, about 44 percent developed these symptoms. But among those kept in the dark, the rate was far lower: only about 15 percent.

It's known as the nocebo effect: When patients are warned of possible pain and unpleasant side effects, it increases the likelihood that they'll experience them.

If the placebo effect—in which positive patient expectations can be therapeutic—is relatively famous and well explored, the nocebo effect is its little-known evil twin.

11 Amazing Creations Discovered In Dreams

You know what visions I get in my dreams? Visions of falling off of buildings (and doing the full body spasm thing when I hit the ground). These 11 people, on the other hand, had dreams that changed the world.

Let's hope that my visions take a turn toward genius sometime soon. Until then, I'll just take inspiration from these guys.

1. The Periodic Table

It's said that Dmitry Mendeleyev was on a three-day work bender when he finally gave in for a few minutes of shut eye. Instead of falling asleep for 17 hours like most sleep deprived people, Mendeleyev dreamt of an arrangement of elements that would change modern chemistry forever, then popped up about 20 minutes later to record it. "I saw in a dream a table where all the elements fell into place as required. Awakening, I immediately wrote it down on a piece of paper... Only in one place did a correction later seem necessary."

How to Turn a Paperclip Into a House

By Carolyn Hanson / Amazing Self

Would you consider yourself a resourceful person?

I like to think that I am, but the truth is I often find my progress to achieving something important is blocked because I seem to lack the resources needed to get the job done.

Not too long ago I learned about the "Red paper clip Guy" whose lessons on resourcefulness I think are worth sharing.

He has 8 of them that I am going to relate to you in a moment.

Tune In. Drop Out. Get Rich.

Reality is an Illusion
Tune In

Some people seem to get rich without much effort. Some people struggle, save, and sacrifice to find riches and some try as hard as they can but never reach the riches they desire.

What makes the difference? It can't be good looks or brains, there's a lot of goofy looking nitwits rolling in cash. It can't be location or vocation. Self made millionaires all start somewhere doing the same tasks as their contemporaries yet they get rich while their co-workers do not.

Do riches come from an iron will and hard work? The millionaire mom of Bill Gates was on the same charity Board of Directors as the Chairman of IBM. "Billy, time to eat. Honey, guess who I met at the golf course today?..." How hard was that?
So what is the key to success? The key to success is the mind. What you think about you bring about. The only path to true happiness is attaining wealth by tuning in on who you really are and what you really want. The Competitive World is all about the outside in. You have to do THIS to get THAT and when you get THERE, THEN you will be happy. WRONG. That's backwards.

The Practical Benefits of Outrageous Optimism

If you ask me, everything is pretty frickin' great these days.

Your life and my life are both going to continue to increase in awesomeness over time.

We are likely to have exceptional fortune and health throughout our days, we'll help to change some lives for the better, our kids are going to turn out loving and great, and we will die with a broad smile across our rugged and weather-worn faces somewhere around the age of a hundred and twenty two.

Oh sure, there will be the odd problem and catastrophe along the way, but they will just serve as recharging jolts to keep us from getting complacent. More problems to solve, more learning to do, and deeper happiness to attain.

On top of that, the human race is bound for an ever-better fate, ironing out most of its current problems and most of the problems that follow in the future, ending up at a tantalizing Star Trek Utopia.

Those are pretty controversial statements to make these days, yet strangely enough the general theme tends to become true, for the few people who are crazy enough to believe it.

Can A Brainwave Shot Transform Your Life?

Source: Brainwave Shots

Can you imagine being able to listen to a 15-minute MP3 to turn on any mind state you want.

For example, want to experience razor sharp focus? Just listen to an audio.

Want to feel happier? Listen to that audio. More brain power? Pop in that audio.

That's what a new “brainwave entrainment” siteclaims you’ll be able to do. And, apparently, they have the science to back it up.

Today, I’m going to pull back the curtains and see if their claims are the real deal – or nothing but hot air.

Canada quietly compensates daughter of brainwashing experiments victim

Alison Steel was only 4½ years old when her mother's life changed forever.
In 1957, Jean Steel was admitted to Montreal's Allan Memorial Institute. The once happy and energetic 33-year-old was diagnosed with manic depression and delusional thinking.

In the months that followed, Steel became the victim of CIA-funded brainwashing experiments conducted by Dr. Ewen Cameron. She was kept in a chemically induced sleep for weeks and subjected to rounds of electroshocks, experimental drugs and tape-recorded messages played non-stop.

Steel said her mother was never quite the same.

Self-help advice from Albert Einstein doesn’t come cheap: A note he wrote on how to lead a happy life has been sold at auction for $1.3 million.

The Nobel Prize winner’s musings were scrawled in German in 1922 on stationery from the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, where he’d been staying.

He wrote, “A calm and humble life will bring more happiness than the pursuit of success and the constant restlessness that comes with it.”

12 Evil Mind Control Drugs

By Dantalion Jones, Author of Mind Control 101

“Narco-analysis” was published in 1943, pouring from the pen of J. Steven Horsley. On its heels came the pitch-black idea of drug-supplemented torture and interrogation.

We’re talking pure wickedness here; instead of just harming the body interrogators began attacking the mind. Want examples? Here’s a few of the most depraved “torture brews” known to man.

Near-Death Experiences of the Rich and Famous

By Kevin Williams
Excerpt from: Near-Death.com

The near-death experiences of rich and famous people are particularly interesting. They are known all over the world. They are often beautiful, articulate and very talented in what they do. With this in mind, why would such a person reveal to everyone that they were dead and came back to life? Money? They already got that. Fame? They are already famous.

In fact, by telling everyone they came back from the dead, they may be risking their own reputation. People who reveal such things to others often become the butt of jokes or thought to be crazy. Why would anyone rich and famous subject themselves to this when it might result in lost fame and fortune? The only rational reason that such people who have nothing to gain is that it really happened to them and they want to share it.

The following are rich and famous people who risked it all to tell the world about their near-death experience.

"Then, when the whole dark list of your troubles is on paper, take your pencil and strike out those that do not matter -- and see how few there are left.”

When Canadian author Herbert N. Casson wrote Getting Over Difficulties in 1928, he may not have thought his advice would still exist and be relevant in 2015.

The Miracle Switch Hidden Inside Your Mind

Review of The Instant Switch

I was ready to give up. My business had been running on fumes for months, and I couldn't afford to even pay my rent, let alone the one employee I had.

I was running a small Public Relations consultancy, and things just weren't going well. We've been losing clients, and even my sole investor pulled out. I used almost all of my remaining savings to keep the business alive, but there was little hope. I had little hope.

Then I came across the Instant Switch. I don't know what came over me, but I bought it and started reading. I was always skeptical of these things, but I guess at that point, I was looking for a miracle. God knows, I needed one. I remember making the purchase and thinking that this probably won't help me get out of the hole I've dug for myself. I mean, can you really instant switch a dying business into a successful one?

Of course you can't. But what this book did for me was something even better than some miracle cure for my PR firm - it changed my mind. And I don't mean in a figurative, decision-making sense either.

In the Instant Switch, Sandy talks about something called neuroplasticity, and how it was possible for the brain to actually, physically change the brain. The resulting change stretches the mind to get results. Results like wealth, and success. I learnt how to control my brain plasticity and realized that it was my complete choice. How I feel, how I react, is not controlled by my clients or my investor, or even the state of my business. I started looking at all the positive things in my life. I was 30 years old. I have experience in PR. I wasn't bankrupt - yet.

This revelation changed my life. Like Sandy said in Chapter 1, I realized that the diamond necklace was indeed around my neck. It wasn't out there, in a place I can find.
The greatest prize I needed, had always been inside. I was looking externally for a solution to solve my problems, trying to find new clients, and attending networking events in hope of land an investor or two. I thought those things were the diamonds that I needed.

At that time, I was so sure that my entire reality was bleak and hopeless, and I was a failure. But that couldn't be further from the truth! All I've been seeing is "no", a perpetual sea of no, no, no. My life was exactly how Sandy described it.

It was time to start switching to "Yes". I also picked up the "Mirror" technique from Chapter 3, and I must say, it has led to so much personal growth to me. I don't want to give away too much, but it involves doing something a little... unorthodox. But take my word for it... It definitely works.

My self-esteem, confidence and zeal in life skyrocketed. My life turned a complete 360 degrees. What I loved about the Instant Switch is that it wasn't all dry techniques.
Sandy uses a lot of her personal experiences to relate back to the techniques she's trying to get across, and that really made the book so much easier to digest. There's also very little confusing jargon for me to get through, which helped in understanding every single technique being taught.

Speaking of techniques, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that there was really nothing complicated involved in transforming myself, in transforming my brain. Most of what Sandy advocates are small, almost negligible changes in a person's every day routine, which is great because some techniques I've read in other books recommended such stark changes that no one would realistically be able to immediately apply to their lives.

The Instant Switch is definitely something I would recommend to anyone who seeks a better life. Having applied the techniques that Sandy put forth in the book, I found a new lease on life. I got myself a new job that's giving me a ton of experience and a stable (and significant) income. I found someone who's truly been a blessing to me. At the risk of sounding like a cliché, Sandy really changed my life for the better through the Instant Switch.

The Quantum Physics of the Afterlife

Dr. Alan Ross Hugenot has spent decades contemplating the conundrums of physics, along with the enigma of human consciousness.

Hugenot holds a doctorate of science in mechanical engineering, and has had a successful career in marine engineering, serving on committees that write the ship-building standards for the United States. He studied physics and mechanical engineering at the Oregon Institute of Technology.

"I did things using Newtonian physics to create ships," he said, "but the whole time, I knew better. There's this whole other world that our five senses don't register." He gave a talk on the science of the afterlife at the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) 2014 Conference in Newport Beach, Calif., on Aug. 29.

Exploring the scientific theories related to this other world, Hugenot has wondered whether the consciousness of living human beings as well as the "souls" of the dead reside in dark matter or dark energy. He has pondered the implications of the power our consciousness seems to have over physical reality.
