How to Solve Problems With Your Subconscious Mind

By Michael Michalko / Source: Psychology Today

Sometimes ideas do not appear when you are concentrating your attention and mysteriously appear when you are not. Modern science recognizes this as a result of incubating the problem in your subconscious yet can't account for why it occurs.

A majority of scientists, artists,  and writers report that they get their best ideas and insights when not thinking about the problem. Ideas come while walking, recreating, or working on some other unrelated problem. This suggests how the creative act came to be associated with Adivine inspiration@ for the illumination appears to be involuntary.

The more problems, ideas and thoughts that you think about from time to time, the more complex becomes the network of information in your mind. The more work you put into thinking about a problem, the more thoughts and bits of information you put into random motion.

When you quit thinking about the subject and decide to forget it, your subconscious mind doesn't quit working. Your thoughts keep colliding, combining and making associations. This is why you've experienced suddenly remembering names, getting solutions to problems you've forgotten about, and ideas out of the blue when you are relaxing and not thinking about any particular thing.

The Cold Hard Truth about the Secret to Motivation

Here it is, the cold hard truth….

There is no secret to motivation.

Motivation is defined as a general desire or willingness of someone to do something. Motivation is the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.

Motivation is a real psychological state of being and definitely can influence our results in life, but only if we allow them to. Too often times we use motivation, or really lack thereof, as an excuse as to why we are not doing or accomplishing what we desire, or honoring our responsibilities at work or home.

The Rudest Self-help Guru Ever

Mark Manson never intended to become a self-help guru. In fact, his potty-mouthed, New York Times best-selling book The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F––k rails against that multi-million-dollar industry.

In Australia to deliver a series of sold-out talks, Manson tells The New Daily that he feels, very strongly, that the self-help industry is “a little bit delusionally positive” and feeds people unrealistic expectations.

“I very much wanted to provide an antidote to that, to be a counterbalance to all the positivity and create like a negative form of self-improvement,” he explains.

How to Seduce Anyone with Mind Power

Sexual KeySource: Black Magic Tantra

This article explains the little-known method for seducing another person using only the power of your mind. Providing you follow the steps clearly and with patience, these techniques will open you up to a hidden world around you and give you a peek at just how easily the mind can influence others.

As human adults, we are already well versed in the experience of mind manifestation. When worded like that - 'mind manifestation' - it may conjure up in your awareness thoughts of 'bizarre,' occult,' 'magic,' 'paranormal,' etc; the mind being able to physically manifest something directly by human thought. But when you look around you in your everyday life, you will see countless examples of a human's ability to manifest 'stuff' from thought.

How to Tell If Someone Is Lying

By Stuart Wolpert / Source: UCLA Newsroom

When someone is acting suspiciously at an airport, subway station or other public space, how can law enforcement officers determine whether he's up to no good?

The ability to effectively detect deception is crucial to public safety, particularly in the wake of renewed threats against the U.S. following the killing of Osama bin Laden.

UCLA professor of psychology R. Edward Geiselman has been studying these questions for years and has taught investigative interviewing techniques to detectives and intelligence officers from the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the Marines, the Los Angeles police and sheriff's departments, and numerous international agencies.

He and three former UCLA undergraduates - Sandra Elmgren, Chris Green and Ida Rystad - analyzed some 60 studies on detecting deception and have conducted original research on the subject. They present their findings and their guidance for how to conduct effective training programs for detecting deception in the current issue of the American Journal of Forensic Psychiatry, which is published this week.

How To Increase Human Energy According To Nikola Tesla

Source: The Tesla Code

The most fundamental principle, the basic program of all life, is energy saving. Whatever you do, whatever you like, whatever feels good for you, it’s just a psychological response that shows you how to be more energy efficient.

Life craves energy and subconsciously you’ll always choose the path of least resistance because of that. That’s why high calorie food tastes better, that’s why whenever your beliefs are questioned you naturally refuse any arguments, that’s why people feel more depressed when there is no sunshine outside.
