Illusionist Derren Brown will attempt to predict the lottery numbers live on television tonight.
He claims he will be able to call the results of the mid-week Lotto draw moments before the numbers are announced.
Channel 4 will show the attempt on its five channels - the first time the broadcaster has given over its entire network to a single event.
Brown will tell viewers how he performed the trick, which has left magicians baffled, in a show on Friday.
In past shows, the illusionist has apparently played Russian roulette with a gun, contacted the dead and convinced members of the public to take part in a robbery.
Details of the lottery stunt, to be shown as the draw is made on BBC1 at 10.35pm, are being kept secret.
